Immediately hiring a Class A CDL Shuttle Driver in Rock Tavern, NY.
Pay
- Hourly pay: $22 per hour
- Sign-on bonus: $250 at 30 days, $250 at 90 days
- Referral bonus: $250 at 6 months, $250 at 12 months
- Paid weekly
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, no weekends
- 1st shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Local – home daily

Responsibilities
- Safely drive a commercial vehicle in compliance with safety and DOT regulations
- Shuttle equipment between Ryder customer facilities (no-touch freight, empty trailers)
- Transfer rental equipment, deliver trucks to customers, and pick up parts (straight trucks, vans, day cabs, sleepers, cabovers, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Follow written and/or oral instructions
- Read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
- Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
