About the Role
The Transdermal Operator I handles the packaging and cartoning manufacturing process and batch record documentation. The position also provides assistance to other areas within the department, including equipment setup, equipment and room cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Assist with equipment set-up, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commercial batch activities.
- Set up and operate cartoning machines to process and package transdermal products.
- Perform packaging room clearance, count materials, and reconcile items as per GMP and SOP.
- Perform in-process checks and visual inspections; routinely inspect transdermal products for quality (e.g., proper placement of cutting, printing, and sealing).
- Perform room and equipment cleaning procedures after each batch.
- Document in-process checks and ensure all batch record data is accurately recorded.
- Clean assigned work areas and assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- 1 year or more in manufacturing, mechanical, or related experience.
- Ability to understand and communicate in English.
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use computer systems for data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation practices.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when required.
- Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test (required).
Schedule
Night Shift – 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with alternating weekend shifts required.
Pay
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.50 to $26.00 per hour. Amneal also offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, within the first 12 months.
