Transdermal Operator I - 12 Hour Schedule - Day Shift

About the role

The Transdermal Operator I handles the packaging and cartoning manufacturing process and batch record documentation. The position also provides assistance to other areas within the department, including equipment setup, equipment and room cleaning.

Schedule

Day Shift – 12-hour per day, rotating schedule (6:00am-6:30pm). 3 days week 1 and 4 days week 2 of pay cycle, requiring every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment set-up, IQ/OQ/PQ, and commercial batch activities.
• Set up and operate cartoning machine to process and package transdermal products.
• Perform packaging room clearance, count materials, and reconcile items as per GMP and SOP.
• Perform in-process checks and visual inspections, routinely inspecting transdermal products for quality (e.g., proper placement of cutting, printing, and sealing).
• Perform room and equipment cleaning procedures after each batch.
• Document in-process checks and ensure all batch record data is accurately recorded.
• Clean assigned work areas and assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• 1 year or more in manufacturing, mechanical, or related experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use computer systems for data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when required.
• Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test (required).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.50 to $26.00 per hour. Amneal also offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, within the first 12 months.
