Transcon Agent - 3rd shift (4 days, 10-hour shifts)

Responsibilities

• Work the 3rd shift (four 10‑hour days).
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Enter accurate and timely data into the operational system.
• Track and trace Transcon files and generate reports.
• Perform accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Deliver freight and secure timely clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers to arrange shipments that meet service standards.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet compliance requirements at all times.
• Respond promptly to network communications, emails, and requests.
• Achieve KPI standards in accordance with company policy.
• Understand customer procedures and keep internal DLSOPs updated.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of ocean documentation processes (a plus).
• Effective interpersonal skills, including active listening and clear, concise communication.
• Pro‑active attitude with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel and Word.
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred).
• Fluency in English.
