About the role
Remote, part-time work for experienced transactional lawyers. You will help train and test AI systems on real contract tasks: negotiating, redlining, and judging whether a machine's mark-up is one you would send to the other side.
Responsibilities
- Work through simulated negotiations and mark-ups of technology agreements
- Score AI responses to contract scenarios and explain, precisely, what is wrong or missing
- Help define the rubrics used to grade the models so results stay consistent
- Share practical guidance with the product and research teams
Requirements
- Three-plus years of in-house transactional work on technology deals: master services agreements, NDAs, ISDA and derivatives documentation
- Strong writing and an eye for detail
- Analytical, and able to translate legal judgment into actionable notes
Qualifications
- Nice to have: time in a law firm's M&A or private-equity fund-formation group, or earlier legal-tech and AI exposure
Pay
Compensation is task-based, with tasks averaging about 3.5 hours; the published hourly range is $90 to $130.
Schedule
Independent contractor, fully remote, around 20 hours per week.
