About the role
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal experts. The teams building them need technology transactions attorneys who can create realistic contract scenarios, judge how accurately the AI identifies risks, set out the legal answer a professional would give, and explain where its reasoning falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI systems that understand and interpret contracts. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
Responsibilities
- Work through simulated technology-contract negotiations and redline the related deal documents
- Assess whether the AI gets contract answers right, spots relevant risks, and applies sound legal judgment
- Write the practical legal position an attorney would give on technology contract issues
- Explain where responses miss risks or lack precision, using objective grading criteria and clear feedback
Why this is worth your time
- Get paid $80–$110 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
- Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved — experience most technology transactions attorneys will not have for years
- Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal work, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
- Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Requirements
- Hold a J.D. and maintain active admission in one or more U.S. bars or another U.S. legal jurisdiction, with the law degree from a school accredited by the ABA
- Have in-house experience of at least three years focused on technology transactions
- Bring hands-on experience negotiating technology deals, including master services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, or data processing agreements
- Professional fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication
- No AI experience needed — you bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools
