Transactional Attorney

About the role

We are seeking a transactional associate with four to seven years' experience to join a community association practice in West Midtown Atlanta. Our transactional associates interact with boards of directors and other industry professionals, providing practical advice on all aspects of the day-to-day business of community associations.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and amending community association covenants and bylaws
• Governing document interpretation and enforcement
• Negotiating and drafting various service contracts
• Attending and presiding over membership meetings
• Developer turnover issues
• Community association compliance with state and federal law

Requirements

• Applicants must be admitted to practice law in Georgia
• Georgia Bar License

Qualifications

Real estate or corporate law experience is preferred. Candidates should have excellent written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
