Transaction Capture Analyst

Transaction Management supports multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle, including loan closing and servicing coordination, complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control. The team oversees the operational closing and servicing of all loan transactions for the supported business division, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the build and development of loan origination and lifecycle management systems for large, complex syndicated and bilateral loans (corporate, commercial, real estate, structured lending, trade).
• Assist in creating processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation for transaction management.
• Aid in designing and implementing technology, including testing and rollout.
• Provide training and support to transaction management staff and business constituents.
• Partner with originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, controls, and processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Define and implement operational metrics and risk/control reviews for end-to-end transparency.
• Continuously improve processes, controls, and efficiencies within the group and across the loan lifecycle.
• Participate in projects to enhance performance, efficiency, loan remediation, and system testing/migration.
• Actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions.
• Coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality control.
• Assess risk in business decisions, prioritizing the firm’s reputation, compliance with laws/regulations, and ethical judgment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft programs.
• Familiarity with Tableau or visualization tools.
• Experience with Loan IQ, transaction capture tools, or similar platforms.
• Keen attention to detail and developed analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Client relationship and solution-oriented skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting wholesale lending at a large financial institution.
• Knowledge of wholesale loan products (syndicated/bilateral), including legal documentation, loan mechanics, deal structure, and funds flows.
• Experience facilitating transactions under time constraints.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior management and stakeholders.
• Critical decision-making skills, including problem identification, escalation, and solution proposal.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for managing multiple deadlines and stakeholder follow-ups.
• Understanding of corporate and regulatory policies related to lending.
• Deep knowledge of operational processes supporting wholesale lending.
• Focus on achieving/exceeding KPIs and operating standards in a metrics-driven culture.
• Ability to adapt in an environment with frequently changing priorities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Pay

$58,656.00 - $75,500.00 annual salary. Eligible employees may also receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
