Transaction Analyst

Position Overview Our client, a private real estate investment firm, is seeking a Transaction Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will support multifamily property acquisitions, refinances, and dispositions from initial underwriting through closing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience reviewing financial and property-related documentation, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport all stages of multifamily acquisition, refinance, and disposition transactions.Conduct property-level due diligence, including review of financial statements, leases, operating reports, and related documentation.Prepare financial analyses, lender packages, transaction summaries, and supporting materials.Coordinate with brokers, lenders, attorneys, consultants, and internal departments to facilitate timely closings.Track transaction milestones and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.Assist with underwriting and investment analysis activities.Identify opportunities to improve transaction processes, reporting, and operational efficiencies. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field.2+ years of experience in real estate finance, investment analysis, acquisitions, asset management, or transaction-related roles.Multifamily real estate experience preferred.Strong Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.Familiarity with underwriting, due diligence, and real estate transaction processes.Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
