Training Systems and Data Specialist

About the role

All resources and logistics necessary to perform service and maintenance activities on customer sites/properties. These activities contribute to maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance services (preventive and corrective), manages maintenance facilities and field technical services. Influences the quality of own work and the work of team colleagues. Executes standard operational/technical tasks generally subject to professional instructions and routines. Some latitude is granted to reorganize task order based on evolving work situations.

Responsibilities

• All activities related to field service training for employees and customers, including delivery of product, systems, and process training.
• Provides ongoing support to ensure the level and quality of field service execution.
• Expand knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles in specialized technical knowledge areas.
• Pursue acquisition of high-level knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key operational factors; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
• Good understanding of how own team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
• Resolves problems in situations requiring good technical knowledge and judgment, according to established procedures.
• Consults more experienced team members for issues outside instructions and/or defined parameters.
• Position requires good interpersonal relationships and may be required to lead a junior team.
• For customer-facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as interface between customer and GE Vernova.
• Explains technical information to colleagues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (non-U.S. roles): Basic experience with the function and digital audio workstation. Knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or a bachelor's degree with experience in a relevant field).

Basic Qualifications (U.S. roles): Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or high school diploma and/or general education diploma with at least 2 years of experience in the function).

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Pay

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,400.00 and $108,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
