Experience

This individual must have a minimum of three years of instructing experience to include:

• series and parallel circuits
• analyze the operation of RC, RL, and RLC circuits
• interpret schematic diagrams
• use electronic test equipment
• observe safety precautions
• troubleshoot faults in electrical circuits
• set up and operate a closed circuit television system
• maintain, disassemble, repair, adjust, and re-assemble video cameras
• operate and maintain video recorders
• troubleshoot video system faults
• select and use appropriate transmission lines and cables
• analyze block diagrams of electronic systems
• isolate faults within electronic systems
• use electronic test equipment
• troubleshoot electronic systems in a logical manner
• correct faults in electronic systems

• understand the operational concepts for digital gates and combinational digital circuits

About the Role

This individual will be an Internal Communications subject matter expert/instructor as part of a multi instructor workforce providing instruction in the courses listed above. This individual will report to the Instructor Leader at Naval Station Great Lakes, IL.
