About the Role

The Training Specialist I will play a key role in employee development, training coordination, and continuous improvement within a laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering hands-on training, developing training materials, mentoring trainers, and partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to ensure employees are trained, compliant, and proficient in their roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training to employees in a laboratory setting.
• Develop and update training materials to support employee proficiency and compliance.
• Mentor and support trainers to enhance training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts to align training with organizational goals.
• Manage multiple training initiatives while meeting deadlines.
• Ensure employees are trained, compliant, and proficient in their roles.

Requirements

• Experience training employees in a professional or laboratory environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning technologies.
• Solid understanding of training methodologies.
• Laboratory experience is required.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
• Some related experience in training, employee development, or a laboratory setting is preferred.
