We are looking for a Training Specialist to support the development of engaging onboarding and training resources for a growing team in Minnesota. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can translate existing information into practical, easy-to-use learning tools that improve the onboarding experience.
Responsibilities
- Redesign current reference materials into clear onboarding guides, quick-reference tools, checklists, and interactive learning resources.
- Organize and prepare training content so it can be adapted into future learning modules and structured educational materials.
- Partner with sales and training teams to refresh onboarding sessions and improve the effectiveness of training meetings for incoming team members.
- Support planning for seasonal and role-specific meetings by assembling agendas, presentation materials, handouts, and supporting resources.
- Create training documentation that promotes a repeatable and scalable onboarding experience across the organization.
- Coordinate details related to training events and meeting logistics to ensure sessions run smoothly and materials are ready on time.
- Use Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, to format content, track updates, and maintain training documentation.
- Contribute to marketing-related support activities that align training materials with team communication needs.
Requirements
- Experience developing or revising training materials, onboarding documentation, or instructional content.
- Ability to turn complex or outdated information into user-friendly guides and job aids.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable supporting event preparation, meeting coordination, and training session logistics.
- Strong written communication skills with attention to structure, clarity, and consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in marketing support, training coordination, or related administrative functions is preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
