Responsibilities
- Design and deliver orientation, ongoing training, and skills assessments for Sterile Processing Department staff.
- Ensure safe and accurate instrument reprocessing aligned with AAMI, AORN, and hospital standards.
- Partner with SPD leaders and perioperative teams to identify learning needs and update training curricula.
- Support the integration of new technologies and promote best practices to reduce risk and enhance patient safety.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in training or education within a sterile processing or healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of sterilization standards and protocols.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and instructional skills.
- Ability to adapt training programs to evolving technologies and procedures.
