Training Specialist

Summary

The Training Specialist will prepare new ACM employees to meet their role expectations by delivering the curriculum outlined in the new hire onboarding program (ACM Academy). This role also involves creating and maintaining training resources on ACM’s internal wiki, identifying gaps in knowledge, and providing ongoing feedback and support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective training in both group and individual settings.
• Educate new employees on the life cycle of clinical trials, roles, and responsibilities of ACM Project Managers, and current best practices.
• Coordinate and facilitate the training of new processes and systems.
• Prepare and maintain Study Management curriculum and training materials.
• Train newly-hired Study Management employees as part of their onboarding.
• Provide ongoing feedback to Study Management leadership.
• Participate in process improvement and new system roll-out initiatives.
• Monitor completion of training requirements.
• Deliver formal and individual training as needed.
• Provide mentorship and continuous support.
• Understand and follow company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• 3 years of training, instructional design or related experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; concentrations in Instructional Design, Communications, or the Sciences are a plus.
• Professional training certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel).
• Prior experience in clinical trials preferred.
• Prior project management experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Keen attention to detail.
