TRAINING REP 3

U.S. Citizenship required. This is a full-time, 1st shift position. Relocation assistance is not available. Not eligible for telework. Travel required 10%-25% of the time. Clearance not required to start.

About the role

Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for development of e-learning programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience
• Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:

• NNS Apprentice School graduate
• Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
• Associate's Degree or other formal 2-year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
• Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
• High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
• High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Nuclear aircraft carrier propulsion and operational systems
• Knowledge of Nuclear submarine propulsion and operational systems
• Experience developing and delivering technical materials to adult audiences
• Experience reading and interpreting ship drawings, specifications and standards
• Ability to make/generate content to assess learners’ knowledge before, during and after training

Pay

Salary range: $77,000.00 to $96,000.00. The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
