About the Role
The Training Programme Director is required to provide leadership and oversight of the post with responsibilities for national training programmes of the Scotland Deanery, and to contribute to other operational and strategic work within the wider specialty grouping.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of the post with responsibilities for national training programmes of the Scotland Deanery
- Contribute to other operational and strategic work within the wider specialty grouping
- Interact with trainees, trainers, and external bodies to support and enhance postgraduate education both regionally and nationally across the Scotland Deanery
- Be a consultant and accountable to the Postgraduate Dean or appropriate Associate Dean
- May combine the role with that of an educational and/or clinical supervisor
