Training Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical training and qualification programs to support regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and workforce readiness.
- Partner with site leadership to assess training needs, identify skill gaps, prioritize initiatives, and establish training strategies aligned with business objectives and qualification requirements.
- Manage and develop Training staff while providing functional oversight of departmental trainers and subject matter experts to ensure consistent, high-quality training delivery.
- Maintain training effectiveness through performance metrics, assessments, corrective actions, and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement and strengthen workforce capability.
- Oversee training budgets, resources, records, qualification documentation, and program controls to maintain compliance, audit readiness, and efficient program execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Human Resources, Education, Business, Engineering, Physical Science, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree or additional coursework related to training, organizational development, technical education, or regulated-industry operations.
- Minimum 7 years of technical training, qualification program, or workforce development experience in an industrial, manufacturing, nuclear, or other highly regulated environment.
- Minimum 1–2 years of training management, supervisory, or formal team lead experience.
- Experience in nuclear fuel manufacturing, commercial nuclear operations, or another regulated environment with formal qualification requirements.
- Professional certification related to training, instructional design, project management, leadership development, or regulated-industry qualification programs.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $112,400 to $140,500 per year.
