Training Coordinator (C) - NSWCEN
Job Overview
The Training Coordinator will represent and liaison between NSWCEN Ranges and Marine Corps Range Control and Safety Offices.
Support Hours
Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain procedures for scheduling and utilization of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma installation facilities and training areas.
- Cook up scheduling between MCAS Yuma and Camp Billy Machen (CBM) Niland, CA.
- Provide updates on NSW range operations and status of NSW units utilizing range facilities.
Minimum Requirements/Education
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the last 10 years in military training and range operations including range facility design, compliance, and environmental policies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) range operations procedures, including familiarity with USMC Range Operations and the Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS) or appropriate DoD range scheduling system program of record.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate government vehicles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Requirements/Education
- Bachelor's degree.
- Familiarity and prior work with NSW.

Travel Requirements
- Approximately 4 trips per year to Coronado, CA (1 day each).
- 12 trips per year to Camp Billy Machen (1 day each).
