Training Coordinator
About the role
The Training Coordinator is accountable for planning, delivering, evaluating, and administering training programs, including new employee orientation, on-the-job training, skill development, compliance, safety, regulatory, corporate, and other training as needed. They also enhance current training programs to align with plant goals for safety, quality, and production, coordinate with management to identify training needs and activities, ensure job training qualification and certification processes are followed, track training events, maintain accurate training records, and provide reports on training progress and completion to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the planning, delivery, evaluation & administration of training programs
- Helping the facility improve employee retention
- Enhancing current training programs to align with established plant goals
- Capturing and publishing training metrics
- Ensuring required training documentation is maintained
- Communicating effectively with all levels across the plant
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development or other related degree or experience equivalent preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills and demonstrated success in developing and delivering training presentations
- Proficient in computer applications (including MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Understanding of meeting facilitation principles, adult learning theory and techniques and best practices for creating / delivering effective training
- Demonstrated attention to detail, organization and time-management skills
- Understands manufacturing operations, processes, job positions/structure preferred, and a willingness to deliver training in both classroom and plant-floor settings
- 2+ years previous work experience in a manufacturing environment or corrugated industry a plus

Pay
$69,500 - $92,600
Schedule
Salaried Full-Time – 1st shift, with flexibility as needed to provide training on 2nd & 3rd
