This position is located at the Arden Hills Training Center and works in the office Monday – Friday. The role provides administrative support for MnDOT’s Training Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers and offices that utilize the facility.
- Support MnDOT’s Learning Management System (LMS) administrator and training registrations for central office employees.
- Perform administrative tasks such as reporting, maintaining schedules, and database entry.
- Provide technical support for IT equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and serve as the IT contact and technical steward.
Requirements
- Skills in customer service sufficient to provide prompt and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through email and other written or electronic correspondence.
- Skills in data entry sufficient to read source documents and enter data in specific databases or tracking systems.
- Skills in database management sufficient to develop and maintain databases and calendars for staff.
- Skills in using computerized inventory management software systems and applications to maintain an accurate inventory.
- Knowledge of standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases sufficient to create, modify, and protect files.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coordinating logistics for training events, meetings, or conferences, including room scheduling, materials preparation, and technology support.
- Experience working with audio/visual or classroom technology (e.g., conference phones, projectors, Yealink devices, Tightrope Carousel systems).
- Learning Management System (LMS) administrator experience.

- Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and criminal history check.
Pay
$24.54 - $33.11 / hourly; $51,239 - $69,133 / annually
Schedule
- Full-time, unlimited position.
- Day shift, Monday - Friday.
- No travel required.
