About the role

Identifies and follows up on potential contacts for prospective foster parents within the same day or, if received after hours, on the next business day.

Responsibilities

• Assists prospective foster and adoptive families in enrolling for Deciding Together (DT) classes
• Conducts Deciding Together (DT) classes for prospective foster and adoptive families
• Assists families with obtaining fingerprints and out-of-state checks if needed
• Collects all required DT paperwork from prospective families
• Completes DT Leaders Summary and Recommendations
• Provides support to prospective foster families

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field or a related field
• At least two years’ experience providing child welfare and/or family services
• Detailed understanding of foster parenting
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Must pass pre-employment background and reference checks, drug screen, and fingerprinting
