Responsibilities

• Demonstrate job tasks to new hires so they understand physical requirements as well as quality, safety, and good manufacturing practices.
• Record new hires' job performance on proficiency sheets.
• Understand staffing requirements on lines for different product runs and adjust staffing and training in coordination with the line supervisor.
• Conduct plant tours for applicants.
• Give new hire orientations.
• Train hourly personnel in processing and packaging departments.
• Hang live chickens.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have an excellent work and attendance record.
• Able to work under pressure with short timeframe deadlines.

Pay

$20.28 per hour
