New Products/MSP Supervisor - Cherry (Nights)

Pay Range: $69,400 to $82,285 per year

Responsibilities

• Responsible for meeting department goals in quality, yield, productivity, cost, and safety.
• Develop and train team members within company guidelines and policies.
• Monitor standards and indexes to control the area of responsibility.
• Provide quick and timely feedback to the Senior Production Supervisor on exceptions related to productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost, and safety.
• Ensure all preventive maintenance is completed on equipment in the area of control and interface with the immediate supervisor on suggested improvements for better efficiency, profitability, and safety.
• Conduct safety orientations and hold safety/general meetings as required.
• Test and develop techniques and processes on equipment as directed by the Senior Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• B.S. in Business Management or equivalent work experience (five to ten years) in the food processing industry.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good mathematical background to perform calculations on yield, productivity, time cards, and reports.
• Able to evaluate team members fairly and objectively; strong human resource skills.
• Growth potential to assume more responsibility.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods on a concrete/metal grate floor.
• Ability to interface daily with all support groups or departments.
