Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement and deploy eLearning content based on the current and future needs of any FSD contracts.
  • Update Walden Security training forms as needed and modify required training documentation (e.g., checklists, sign-in sheets, forms, etc.) to ensure they are up to date.
  • Collaborate with Training Instructors to modify and update content and lesson plans as required to meet Federal contract requirements.
  • Cook up day-to-day operations of the LMS as they relate to FSD requirements.
  • Review, prepare, and assist in updating training and LMS content before the start of each fiscal year.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and employee development progress in the LMS.
  • Generate Training reports, such as completions and certifications, by course.
  • Troubleshoot any LMS-related training issues reported by end users or other sources.
  • Guide contract managers and intermediate supervisors on completing required training forms.
  • Process New Hires
  • Update spreadsheets with new hires, LOA, FMLA, terminations, transfers, etc.
  • General training/administrative support to assigned contracts/circuits (to include email, phone calls, etc.).
  • LMS data entry and support
  • Receive, review, and audit the training schedule
  • Regulate, check, and confirm that all training Instructors are certified during documentation review/submit requests for training instructor approval to the field training manager
  • Documentation audit/processing/entry for Phase I, Phase II, Annual training, Initial FAQ, and Annual FAQ.
  • Transfer FAQ documentation, audit/processing/entry
  • Remedial Training documentation audit/processing/entry
  • Conduct Monthly Activity Report reviews
  • Utilize SharePoint to release updated training materials to supervisors
  • Support the FSD Training Department during any shipment of weapons and ammo.
  • Support the FSD Training Academy operations (e.g., LMS, classroom maintenance, testing, etc.)
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Training.

    Qualifications

    • The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
    • It is preferred that the candidate has an associate's degree or higher from an accredited university.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations using the English language.
    • Ability to write reports, internal business correspondence, curriculum, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to create and interpret bar graphs.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; preferred experience with Learning Management Systems; have a working knowledge of Internet programs and other software as required and have the ability to learn new software programs.
    • Currently possesses or can obtain and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule and evenings, weekends, and holidays as requested or required. Travel of 25% or less may be required. The Candidate may travel from the corporate office to assigned sites and posts. In addition, the candidate may be tasked to travel and support other divisions and branches within the company, as well as the ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
    • Physical demands include regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching, handling, feeling, and using hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
