Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (5:45 AM – 6:00 PM)

Compensation: $20.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Confer with management, supervisors, and team members to understand training needs and policy/procedure/regulation changes.
  • Coordinate training schedules with hiring and operational demands across all shifts.
  • Conduct daily classroom testing, video training, and hands-on forklift driving evaluations.
  • Lead training sessions for refresher and annual requirements (e.g., SHARP, Batch Control, SAM Hazards, LOTO, Battery Changing Procedures, forklift recertification).
  • Provide group and one-on-one training as needed.
  • Evaluate trainee progress and effectiveness; complete training reports.
  • Counsel team members on forklift operation tasks and problem-solving.
  • Create and update training manuals and agendas; develop materials in collaboration with management.
  • Monitor and assess training program effectiveness; suggest improvements to work procedures.
  • Operate a lift truck for material handling duties as requested by operations or shift supervisors.
  • Perform all essential functions of a Material Handler.
  • Maintain reliable attendance for scheduled shifts and work voluntary/mandatory overtime during busy seasons.
  • Perform duties in compliance with safety and security standards.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • One year of related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • At least 80% cross-trained in material handling functions preferred.
  • Valid state driver’s license and forklift certification.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use hand-held radios.

  • Paperwork Verification: Verify paperwork to ensure correct product delivery; inspect product condition for quality.

  • Accuracy: Perform work thoroughly and accurately.
