About the role
The position involves conducting ongoing individual and/or small group skills training for new DAR staff members, continuing education for DAR staff members, providing skills practice for Emory research staff, maintaining required training activity records and certification registries.
Responsibilities
- Conducts on-going individual and/or small group skills training for new DAR staff members
- Conducts continuing education for DAR staff members
- Provides skills practice for Emory research staff
- Maintains required training activity records and certification registries
Requirements
- High school diploma with four years of related laboratory animal experience and LAT certification OR two years of veterinary technical training from a college or university or an associate degree in a related field, and four years of related experience with a minimum of two years in a laboratory animal setting
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year experience in a laboratory animal setting
- AALAS certifications and/or degrees in teaching or biological sciences are preferred
Qualifications

Pay
Salary range: $X - $Y per hour
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
