About the role
As the Trainer, Content Developer (E-Learning), you will partner with our leaders in Operations to create and deliver training and performance support materials. Your dedication and experience will help drive positive business results and support the strategic priorities of the business.
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver in-role training sessions
- Work directly with stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop training deliverables
- Design engaging, inclusive, multi-modal content to be accessed by diverse user base
- Create assessment questions that correlate to learning objectives
- Develop and maintain continual education support materials and job refresher aides to use once training has been completed
- Analyze the success of training initiatives by evaluating learning outcomes and knowledge transfer
- Provide reporting for leadership on the effectiveness of instructional materials, activities, and assessments
- Collaborate with operations leaders and HR to identify training participants
- Be creative and adaptable in re-designing training programs to meet business needs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while working independently
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year experience in eLearning creation and data analysis to measure effectiveness of training
- Proficiency with MS Office applications to include Excel, PowerPoint, Articulate, Google Slides, and graphic design
- Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
- Availability to travel domestically 5-10%
Qualifications
It’d be great if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or education
- 4 years' experience in instructional design and training delivery
- Experience in Supply Chain or Logistics
- Strong facilitation, presentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Solid project and time management skills with the ability to multitask and manage operations and student expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
