The Role
This is a practical, field-based role working outdoors at night, supporting leak detection activities across the water network.
Your daily duties will include:
- Assisting with detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leaks
- Serving as a support to repair teams by providing accurate leak detection information
- Carrying out project and survey work across the network
- Uploading data to a laptop and completing all required paperwork
- Driving between sites and completing manual tasks (lifting, bending, stretching)
- Following strict health & safety procedures
- Driver, Van Driver, Multidrop Driver, Meter Reader, Field Technician, Labourer, Warehouse Operative, Refuse Loader, Delivery Driver, Postal Worker, Outdoor Operative, or anyone used to manual/outdoor work.
Also suitable for graduates, ex-forces personnel, or anyone seeking a career change with full training and progression.
Requirements
Full UK manual driving licence
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working outdoors and completing manual tasks
Ability to follow procedures and health & safety regulations
Basic computer skillsAdditional Information
