The Role

This is a practical, field-based role working outdoors at night, supporting leak detection activities across the water network.

Your daily duties will include:

• Assisting with detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leaks
• Serving as a support to repair teams by providing accurate leak detection information
• Carrying out project and survey work across the network
• Uploading data to a laptop and completing all required paperwork
• Driving between sites and completing manual tasks (lifting, bending, stretching)
• Following strict health & safety procedures

What We Offer

You will be trained to use specialist equipment to detect leakage noise and help pinpoint leak locations across the underground network.

Ideal for people with experience as a:

• Driver, Van Driver, Multidrop Driver, Meter Reader, Field Technician, Labourer, Warehouse Operative, Refuse Loader, Delivery Driver, Postal Worker, Outdoor Operative, or anyone used to manual/outdoor work.

  Also suitable for graduates, ex-forces personnel, or anyone seeking a career change with full training and progression.

  Requirements

  Full UK manual driving licence
  Strong attention to detail
  Good communication skills
  Problem-solving mindset
  Comfortable working outdoors and completing manual tasks
  Ability to follow procedures and health & safety regulations
  Basic computer skills
