Trails & Facilities Manager

About the role

The Trails & Facilities Manager leads essential projects for the North Coast Land Conservancy, including trail creation and maintenance, facility infrastructure upkeep, and mechanical equipment repair/operation. This role collaborates extensively with staff, volunteer committees, and external contractors.

The ideal candidate enjoys group problem-solving, possesses strong hands-on technical and mechanical skills, and is comfortable administering contracts, building budgets, securing permits, and working outdoors across all weather conditions to advance NCLC’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead trail creation and maintenance projects
• Maintain facility infrastructure
• Repair and operate mechanical equipment
• Administer contracts and build budgets
• Secure necessary permits for projects
• Collaborate with staff, volunteer committees, and external contractors
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

Qualifications
