Job Responsibilities
- Provide back up for other Specialists when they are out of the office.
- Daily duties could include:
- Preparing and maintaining on-air logs through careful management of commercial inventory.
- Maximizing both revenue and inventory for a group of stations.
- Utilizing innovative problem-solving and decision-making skills to achieve station goals.
- Printing and exporting of stations’ daily program logs.
- Receiving all traffic instructions (original and revisions) from station clients.
- Interpreting commercial copy and agency instructions.
- Building instruction/rotation sets for assignment in WideOrbit and assigning instruction sets to applicable orders.
- Reviewing “Missing Instruction” report and communicating to agency and station personnel regarding missing commercial instructions and material.
- Maintaining electronic files of all commercial copy instructions.
- Ensuring accuracy of entering station advertising orders.
- Checking orders in WO against what was submitted by the station.
- Aiding in the implementation of HTV Best Practices and SOPs.
Qualifications
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong communications skills.
- Ability to work under pressure against deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn and take on all tasks assigned.
- Team player - will be working with all levels in the organization.
Requirements
- Must be computer literate and experienced with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with WideOrbit system preferred, but not required. Will train the right candidate.
- Onsite attendance is required.
