Traffic Signal Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, program, integrate, and maintain traffic signal components, including: Detection Systems, Traffic Signals, Edge-Computing Technology, Emergency Vehicle Preemption, Transit Signal Priority, Adaptive Traffic Signal Control, Communications Networks, Transportation Safety Solutions, Cabinets, and UPS systems.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for traffic signal controllers and cabinets.
• Diagnose and repair wiring issues in cabinets and underground systems.
• Replace conductors in conduit and test/splice loop detectors in the street.
• Work safely in outdoor environments year-round.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in traffic signal installation and maintenance required.
• Ability to interpret one-line diagrams and blueprints.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Bluebeam preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required; CDL training available through company sponsorship.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
