About the role

Responsible for analyzing traffic patterns and developing strategies to improve traffic flow and safety.

Responsibilities

• Analyze traffic data to identify trends and issues
• Develop and implement traffic management plans
• Collaborate with city planners and engineers to design and implement traffic infrastructure improvements
• Provide expert testimony in court cases related to traffic violations
• Conduct public outreach and education programs on traffic safety

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in traffic engineering or related field
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with traffic simulation software
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

Pay

Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually
