Traffic Analysis Engineer
About the role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing traffic and safety studies, traffic simulation and level of service analysis, developing access management plans and lane configurations for new or modified alignments, developing traffic signal timing plans, preparing summary documentation and reports, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and communicating concepts to clients.

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Licenses as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Working knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual & Trip Generation Manual
- Working knowledge in capacity analysis, traffic projections, and safety analysis (including HSM)
- Working knowledge of traffic simulation programs (VISSIM, CORSIM, etc.), Synchro, and HCS
- Experience in analyzing intersections, interchanges, and roundabouts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree for an ABET accredited engineering program
- 4 - 8 years of experience with traffic specific projects
