Home » Careers » Traffic Coordinator – Part Time Position Summary The Traffic/Media Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all commercials on the correct orders; maintaining relationships with third parties providing copy and copy instructions; working with sales to ensure correct copy; maintaining the dub list in the traffic system; managing the house numbers in the traffic system. This position will also play a key role in the digital media sales fulfillment. Including aggregating digital performance reports, digital order entry, applying digital creative to orders, and other duties as assigned. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Secure and input traffic instructions for advertisers across multiple channels or playlistsEnter detailed copy information using Wide Orbit traffic softwareMaintain instruction files, spot library and various other traffic functionsWork closely with local account executives and clients in a professional and timely mannerNotify account executives of missing copy instructionsMaintain thorough/accurate communication between traffic hub, Sales and TV operators.Create dub lists, ingest and segment all spots and paid programming (from various delivery Sites)Liaison between Master Control and Account Executive and/or Client on any quality control issue related to spots or Paid ProgramsBecome familiar with compatible video formats and transcoding methodsDigital order entry and traffic creative with high level of accuracyWork directly with Digital Sales Manager and third-party digital vendor to implement digital sales strategies and productsUse Wide Orbit Traffic to aggregate reportsResponsible to reconcile “As- Run” logs back into the Wide Orbit traffic system making sure everything ran as scheduled Essential duties and responsibilities are those most important or most frequently performed duties. Look at processes through a new eye to streamline or make things betterAbility to save the station money by minimizing errorsMicrosoft Office knowledge (excel and PowerPoint specific) In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions to perform this job successfully. Desirable Requirements Fully Bilingual Spanish/ English Physical Requirements Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
