Entry-level position monitoring and controlling access to the Lubbock Drop Yard by being stationed at the traffic control building. Located at KLB Sons Lubbock - Lubbock, TX. Full‑time, Transportation category, Day shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and controlling access to the Lubbock Drop Yard by being stationed at the traffic control building.
• Verifying the identity of visitors and employees entering and exiting the premises; checking vehicles, trucks, trailers, documentation for verification and security purposes.
• Frequent yard checks.
• Coordinates trailer assignments and visitor check‑in/check‑out utilizing YMS software.
• Checking identification badges and credentials of individuals entering and leaving the property.
• Accurate recording of all information into company use software.
• Assist dispatch with dispatching of loads.
• Diligent observation of surroundings.
• Recording details of all visitors including arrival and departure times.
• Opening and closing gates to allow authorized entry and exit.
• Providing directions and answering basic questions for visitors.

Pay

$17.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Schedule

Working various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
