Traditional Worship Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and leading the music ministry of the traditional worship service in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.
• Recruiting, encouraging, rehearsing, and caring for choir members, accompanists, soloists, and volunteer musicians.
• Selecting music that reflects the theology, mission, vision, and worship life of PVUMC.
• Helping cultivate meaningful congregational participation through singing, prayer, scripture, and worship leadership.
• Building authentic relationships with volunteers and encouraging their spiritual growth through participation in worship ministry.
• Collaborating with clergy, staff, and volunteers to support the church's shared mission of forming disciples.
• Supporting the mission and ministry of PVUMC with integrity, compassion, creativity, humility, and joy.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading traditional Christian worship and choral ministry.
• Strong musical skills, including conducting and the ability to work effectively with accompanists and volunteer musicians.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated emotional maturity, healthy boundaries, humility, and sound judgment.
• Commitment to the mission, vision, values, and inclusive ministry of PVUMC.
• Able to recruit, encourage, equip, and retain volunteer leaders.

Pay

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
