Tradition Surgery Center - Patient Care Technician

Duties/Responsibilities

• Transport patients to OR and PACU areas.
• Transport patients upon discharge.
• Maintain the PreOP, OR, and PACU areas, equipment, and level of supplies.
• Perform a variety of assisting and servicing activities to help maintain the Center.
• Affix in room turnover.
• Affix with cleaning carts and equipment between cases.
• Affix in end of day cleaning and restocking.
• Provide and give cooperative and courteous service to patients, staff, visitors and others as part of the Center’s commitment to quality services.
• Work effectively as part of the healthcare team to facilitate the unit’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
• Follow the center exposure control plans for blood borne and airborne pathogens.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification (as required by individual ASC policy).
