Fresenius Medical Care is seeking Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support and collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing dialysis treatment to several patients at a time. This role involves prepping and testing equipment, reviewing treatment sheets, and opening clinics early in the morning.
Job Description
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) at Fresenius Medical Care support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to multiple patients at a time. They are responsible for setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, preparing and testing equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. PCTs also educate patients on dialysis-related topics and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
Success Profile
To succeed in this role, candidates should have prior direct patient care experience, a combination of technical skills and genuine passion, and a genuine interest in developing deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life. Experience in customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care is preferred.
