About the role

The Trading Desk Technology Project Manager will lead the development and implementation of technology solutions for the trading desk. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets and strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects from initiation to closure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, developers, and operations staff
  • Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets
  • Facilitate regular meetings and ensure alignment among team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a financial services or technology environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial markets and trading processes
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience with financial software and systems
  • Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and support

Pay

$100,000 - $120,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
