About the role
The Trading Desk Technology Project Manager will lead the development and implementation of technology solutions for the trading desk. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets and strong project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects from initiation to closure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, developers, and operations staff
- Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets
- Facilitate regular meetings and ensure alignment among team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a financial services or technology environment
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar
Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial markets and trading processes
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Experience with financial software and systems
- Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and support

$100,000 - $120,000 annually
