Tradesperson

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills.
• Performs framing with metal studs.
• Measures, cuts, hangs drywall, and finishes drywall.
• Hangs doors and installs electrical conduit and wiring.
• Installs HVAC ductwork and devices.
• Roughing in and installing plumbing fixtures, valves, supply, drain, and vent lines.
• Installs various types of flooring materials.
• Reads and interprets construction drawings and detailed specifications.
• Interacts with all levels of employees.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Able to climb and work off of ladders, scaffolding, or electric lifts.
• Able to read blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Must be capable of working in all weather conditions.

Working Environment

• 90% of work is inside.
• 10% of work is outside in all weather conditions.

Skills & Abilities

• Willingness to train/mentor other tradespeople.
