Serving as a lead to staff
Serving as a lead to staff by assigning and monitoring work and providing direction
Essential Duties
- Serving as a lead to staff by assigning and monitoring work and providing direction
- Performing highly complex installations and repairs within the functional area
- Inspecting equipment and determining repair and maintenance needs
- Performing preventative maintenance within the functional area
- Maintaining inventory levels of supplies, equipment, and related materials
- Performing other duties of a similar nature or level
Public Speaking Duties
- Communicate effectively and engage with staff, citizens, leadership, and elected officials as needed.
Other Job Requirements/Information
- Pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
- Public safety background which may include motor vehicle & criminal histories, and fingerprinting.
- May require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Four years of trades experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered
- A valid Driver's License
Salary and Grade
- Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
- Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
- The grade for this position is B23(3).
