Trademark Staff Attorney (non-partnership track) - Philadelphia, Atlanta, or Phoenix

About the role

Ballard Spahr is seeking a Trademark Staff Attorney, for a non‑partnership track role, to join its innovative Intellectual Property Group in Philadelphia, Atlanta, or Phoenix.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, strategic worldwide brand counseling and advice, including mark selection, clearance, registration, and enforcement, as well as copyright registration advice and enforcement for a broad spectrum of clients with some of the world’s most recognizable marks.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in domestic and international trademark clearance and prosecution.
• Active bar admission in the chosen jurisdiction, or the ability to waive into that bar.
• Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Knowledge of U.S. copyright law is a plus (not required).
