Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with the sales and design departments to ensure the project aligns with the conceptual vision and client expectations.
- Estimate project costs and assist Account Executives (AEs) with proposal wording.
- Oversee the development of production specification drawings.
- Order all project specific materials and hardware, issue purchase orders, and account for all project costs and variances.
- Manage subcontractor support for specialty items.
- Daily communication with the shop foreman relating to fabrication details and changes as they arise.
- Initiate and lead weekly project-specific meetings and communicate results to all affected team members.
- Create crate content lists and shipping manifests in collaboration with the logistics department.
- Create a setup package for on-site managers with assistance from the detailing department.
- Initiate and lead post-event meetings with the emphasis on improvements in process and procedures that can be applied to future projects.
- Mentor and help develop career paths for junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Ability to travel and work weekends as needed for trade show events.
