Manager, Project Management

Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily functions in Project Management & Detailing departments
• Coach Project Managers and detailers to enhance technical decision-making and execution
• Maintain visibility across active projects, identify recurring issues, and improve processes
• Conduct reviews of completed work, field installation performance, and ensure technical and operational compliance
• Build and maintain a knowledge base of vendor performance, historical costs, and lessons learned
• Define and maintain wide division standards and practical guidelines for rigging, AV, lighting, electrical, and labor
• Provide real-time technical support to estimators for large projects during pre-sale project development
• Review complex project quotes during estimating to ensure accurate scope and technical assumptions
• Ensure accuracy of vendor quotes (Rigging, AV, etc.)
• Oversee compliance with preferred vendor network
• Manage department budgets-to-actual, monitor compliance to company procedures, oversee record-keeping, assist in staff training, and conduct routine audits
• Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including conducting performance reviews, approving vacation requests, working with HR on employee relations, and providing daily mentoring and coaching to staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 8+ years of relevant industry experience
• Prior leadership/supervisory experience required
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, PM software, and ERP systems (such as JDE)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to mentor and coach staff, along with strong team-building skills

This position must be in-office, within our Pittsburgh area division (Warrendale, PA).
