Expectations
- Provide daily operational support for trade compliance including HTS/ECCN classification, country of origin, FTA qualification, documentation, and ISF filings
- Assist cross-functional teams on logistics and compliance synergies to reduce cost & risk
- Conduct internal and external audits and implement corrective actions
- Research and recommend compliance solutions to reduce cost and mitigate regulatory risk
- Serve as the primary contact with Customs Brokers
- Monitor service provider performance and participate in quarterly supplier business reviews
- Provide landed cost details as requested
- Support Anti-Dumping/Countervailing, export licenses, duty drawback, and special government programs
Essentials
- 5+ years of trade compliance experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience with HTS/ECCN classification, country of origin determination, valuation & FTA
- Working knowledge of U.S. Customs & EAR regulations
- Solid problem-solving skills with attention to detail and analytic mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
