Trade Compliance Specialist

About the role

Jefferson Wells, a Sikich Company is partnering with a leading organization to identify a highly skilled Interim Trade Compliance Specialist for a 3–6 month, fully remote consulting engagement. This part-time opportunity (approximately 24 hours per week) is designed to provide immediate support to an established global trade compliance team managing a significant volume of import/export compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Support a busy global trade compliance function during a 3–6 month interim engagement
• Assist with import and export compliance reviews
• Transaction approvals
• Customs documentation validation
• HTS classification activities
• Audit preparation
• Broker coordination

Qualifications

• Hands-on Trade Compliance professional
• Able to provide immediate bandwidth relief to a busy global trade compliance team
• Capable of helping maintain compliance excellence across import and export operations

Pay

Hourly Pay range is negotiable depending on experience: $35-45 W2

Schedule

Part-time opportunity (approximately 24 hours per week). The engagement may be extended based on business needs and mutual fit.
