Primary Purpose
The Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that tactical trade compliance functions are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing suppliers’ Free Trade Agreement documentation (e.g., USMCA certifications and Certificates of Origin)
- Generating ChemPoint FTAs
- Entering and maintaining trade data
- Conducting export sales order audits
- Responding to internal and external customer inquiries via email and ChemPoint’s internal systems
What You'll Do
- Fulfill customer requests and corresponding requests to suppliers
- Maintain and improve team processes and supporting documentation
- Identify gaps in process and supporting technology
- Aid in small scale efforts to ensure regulatory compliance
- Interact with Customer Solutions and Sales teams to manage customer expectations
- Perform other related duties as required or requested
What You'll Need
- Ace or bachelor’s degree from fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite; strong Excel skills preferred
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey ideas and suggestions via multiple modes of communication
- Exhibits versatility and adaptability while interacting with customers, suppliers and outsourced relationships
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment
- Demonstrates sound judgment and critical thinking

This is a hybrid role in Bellevue, WA
Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $63,000 – $73,000 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
