Trade Compliance Manager, Master Data & Controls
About the role
The Trade Compliance Master Data & Controls Manager will oversee the operational framework ensuring Philips Respironics' import/export part-number data, trade documentation, and broker-facing compliance information are complete, accurate, current, and actionable.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a controlled trade compliance data-management system to support compliant and efficient customs clearance.
- Lead the accuracy, completeness, and visibility of import/export trade compliance data across SAP, product master systems, trade databases, and broker platforms.
- Drive broker and system alignment to synchronize trade compliance data across SAP, invoices, broker databases, and other trade repositories.
- Manage regulatory compliance and change control by monitoring evolving import/export regulations and updating systems, validating data, documenting compliance actions, and confirming broker readiness for regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close data gaps and resolve compliance risks, developing clear workflows, accountability structures, escalation paths, and governance forums.
- Build reporting, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives to track trade data quality, compliance risks, broker holds, documentation gaps, and overall readiness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, import/export operations, master data, logistics, regulatory operations, or supply chain controls.
- Working knowledge of import/export compliance concepts, including HTS/HS classification, country of origin, customs documentation, IOR, PGA/FDA requirements, valuation, and recordkeeping.
- Experience in medical device, healthcare, regulated manufacturing, or complex global supply chains.
- Skills in SAP, ERP master data, trade compliance systems, broker platforms, or structured operational databases, along with strong Excel, reporting, data-quality, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with SAP GTS, SAP material master, customs broker portals, Power BI, workflow tools, or AI-enabled analytics.
- Knowledge of FDA import processes, AD/CVD, Section 232, ECCN/export controls, and broker entry processes, and a Customs Broker License, CCS, CES, or similar trade compliance certification.

Pay
The pay range for this position in Pennsylvania is $87,000 to $139,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
