Tractor Technician
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and efficiency of our trucks and trailers for drivers and customers
- Perform DOT-compliant maintenance on all vehicles and equipment within our fleet
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all fleet vehicles and equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair major systems including engines, transmissions, DEF systems, AC systems, and driver safety mitigation devices
- Utilize OEM diagnostic platforms for troubleshooting and repair, and participate in ongoing training opportunities
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
Qualifications
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license (CDL license is a plus)
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Basic computer skills
- Regular attendance for assigned shifts
- Positive team player
- Able to understand and implement instructions, guidelines, and pertinent information
- Able to move, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
Pay
$20 - $30 per hour (based on experience)
